wasps are amazing - any movement or vibration that threatens their nursery activity causes them to go into super alert mode - if the danger is urgent scouts on the perimeter fly off to intercept the intruder - returning wasps bringing supplies like food or water from a nearby pond to help build the nest - on their final approach to the nest they identify themselves thru chemical and visual means - sometimes they fly off again
